"Vityaz" handed over household and medical equipment to Vitebsk medical institutions

The labor collective of JSC "Vityaz" joined the charity marathon to help doctors. Today, the enterprise handed over the first batch of household and medical equipment to city medical institutions, General Director of the joint-stock company Gennady Azarov told reporters, BelTA has learned.
The charity event started at the enterprise this week. In a few days, the amount needed to purchase 15 microwave ovens was collected. The enterprise will also provide medical institutions with 5 dry-air thermostats designed to obtain and maintain a stable temperature inside the working chamber, which is necessary for bacteriological, microbiological, sanitary-biological, virological and biochemical studies. Household appliances will go to city hospitals, and thermostats will be distributed among laboratories with the highest load, where coronavirus infection is being diagnosed. Three thermostats will be handed over to the laboratory of the infectious disease hospital and one each to the laboratories of the regional hygiene center and the center of dermatology and cosmetology, which are now working almost around the clock.

"The action received great support in the team, so it will continue. As funds are raised, we will continue to purchase and transfer the equipment necessary for doctors in agreement with the regional health department. We also urge you to join our initiative, products for these purposes will be sold at cost," - stressed Gennady Azarov.
